The AMA Pro Road Racing #26 XR1200 Crewed by the Wounded Warrior Project Will Be On Display This Saturday at AMA Pro Hillclimb's "Staircase to the Heavens" Night Race in Oregonia, Ohio

UPPER ARLINGTON, Ohio (June 22, 2012) - The wounded warrior crewed #26 XR1200 sponsored by RIDER Insurance / Oxford Consulting Group / Team Ohio Racing will be on display this Saturday at AMA Pro Hillclimb’s “Staircase to the Heavens” Night Race in Oregonia, Ohio. Team Rider and Owner Peter Cline will have the #26 RacerRuss Motorsports Harley-Davidson on hand to promote the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP)crewed motorcycle, which will compete at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course for the Buckeye SuperBike Weekend July 13-15. Also on hand will be an Ohio warrior, who will be able to answer questions about the WWP’s mission and goals.
Amanda Campbell, Marketing for AMA Pro Hillclimb, says “this is a great opportunity to be able to cross promote road racing and hillclimbing. Hillclimb fans will enjoy seeing the XR1200 Road Racing bike up close and personal while also getting to see the XR Hillclimbers hit the hill on the same night. The location of the Mid Ohio Sports Car Course and the Staircase to the Heavens are perfect for us to be able to work together.”
The Staircase to the Heavens event is hosted by the Dayton Motorcycle Club and is the first time the race will take place on a Saturday night in June. It will be an evening of racing and bands, with three bands taking the stage starting at 6pm, including the Dallas Moore Band, Scotty Bratcher, and McGuffey Lane, to take the stage at 10pm.
