Vincent Nuzzolilli is no doubt one of the crowd favorites of the AMA Pro Hillclimb series. Good news for the race fans, they're going to get a chance to see a little bit more of Vinny as he has announced that he will be competing in the 450 Class for the 2018 season and will continue to compete in the Extreme and Unlimited classes as well. Vinny's career started as a hillclimber at the age of 4 when he won back to back National Championships on a 50cc. Not long after, he grabbed his first New England Championship in 2009. As soon as Vinny turned Pro, he began to make a name for himself, winning not only the Rookie of the Year in 2011 but also the Dave Watson Hard Charger Award. In 2012 Vinny found himself at the top, taking his first AMA Pro National Championship in the Unlimited Class. The following season, it looked as if Vinny was going to take back to back National Championships. In the 8th round he was tied with Koester for wins and had more podium finishes than any other rider that season. However, fate would have different plans. A horrific crash at White Rose would leave Vinny with a broken femur and unable to finish the season. Three years after originally earning the DW7 Hard Charger award, Vinny would make good on it once again in the 2014 season. He had to conquer something that many people thought would be impossible -that was to come back the following year and race where his season-ending crash occurred. Not only was he able to overcome that challenge but even more impressive, he came back that day to take the win! The winning wouldn't stop there, Nuzzolilli continued to dominate that season and clenched another Unlimited National Championship. It is that drive and determination that keeps the fans wanting more of Vinny Nuzzolilli. He'll be back again on the Nitro-injected Watson Racing Honda 997 looking for his 3rd National Championship in 2018.
